I have been using the word of promised Bible app for six years. It is something that I have used for homeschooling, personal Bible study, a quick reference when I need to search some topic. It is easy to use, and puts the Word right at my fingertips.

I bought this app a decade ago when it came out. I am still able to access the app without issues. Most developers don’t do that. Excellent app with bible study plans like MCheney’s are available in this app. Very highly recommended. Best Dramatization!

I have used this app for over a decade and constantly return to it for inspiration. The dramatic presentation accompanied by professional theatrical sound effects and music transport the listener to Bible times. The actors are gifted artists. Being able to read along as the text is highlighted is a great bonus. This is the single best app purchase I have ever made.

This app is very user friendly! I especially like the way the search function works. I use the notes to compile a small database of my own with scripture’s on specific topics. The audio feature really brings the Bible to life. I wish the reference address would be at the top of a copied and pasted script instead of the bottom. Keep up the good work!!

Reading the Bible all of the way through with this audio version. Is very helpful. It helps me stay more consistent and better take in the individual people in the Bible and the overall narrative of what’s going on. Very helpful. Thank you guys for putting this all together. The app works well too.

I love this app. I have been using it since 2018 off and on as a study Bible; however, I recently bought a new phone and I am not able to restore my purchases. It works then goes away again even though I am logged in and everything. I really would like to continue to use this app but there is no customer service or developer contact where I can get help with this issue and the study materials is the only reason I use the app at all.

it sin't frendly to copy and past verses

i love this app so so much

Older version of the app would allow the content to play even when my phone would go to sleep or if I wanted to do something else on my phone. Now it won’t do that. I used this app to fall asleep to but now I can’t do that unless my phone is always awake. Big bummer and very upsetting.

The voices and sound effects and music helps me feel and experience the Bible. You have to read the book of Job. I am going to get through the Bible in a year thanks to the daily reading guide keeping me on track . Bravo and well done !

I discovered this audio version on YouTube and have been listening to it ever since. I was so pleased to discover there was an app made by the same people who created this audio version. What a blessing!!!! Thank you Lord God Almighty for the work you have done through this organization! Amen!

This is my favorite Bible app! The Bible stories come alive as you listen to the dramatized audio as the app highlights the text that’s being read! WONDERFUL! The production and the acting is top notch!

I love this app. It’s awesome! The different voices and sounds make it come alive. Was curious is theee a way you could make a repeat option for chapters or books?

I love this app because it makes easy to read the bible.

I am now able to listen to the bible anywhere and everywhere. I can read it and listen to it, and I can do that anytime that my phone is nearby. It is incredibly convenient.

This app provides a wonderful way to study the Bible and to listen to the Word of Promise audio recordings of the Bible. I love the way it highlights the verse being read. I also like being able to change the audio speed particularly since “Moses” (Richard Dreyfuss) reads very slowly. The study bible tools provide a helpful and even fun way to study and explore. The support for this app is outstanding. I misread the options when making the in-app purchase for the audio/study bible. I emailed support and they responded within 36 hours with a solution already applied to my account. They went above and beyond to help me.

Would be so much better don’t know how this quality is like this there are other apps that are clearer than this and I paid over $40 for access. If the quality would be better it would be perfect would like to use this app instead of YouTube or other apps since I paid my money for it. Not being petty it’s a nice app and try but that quality need a huge update to some modern day Clarity and I would definitely 5 five star after but as of down quality is not good.

So I’m not new to the word of promise in the NKJV but, a past buyer (From when it first came out years ago). I have the whole Bible of this on cd. Am glade I can have it in a digital format so I don’t have to carry around the cd box and a cd radio player or book box. I put in my blue tooth headphones and off I go at work. It’s a blessing for sure and I will never take the bible for grant. I knew very soon we will be banded from carrying bibles. The digital version is clear and amazing. I try and listen to it as much as I can now. God blessing. Jeff

I have the Word of Promise audio bible downloaded on my iPad and for the most part, it’s great! However, my version has a “glitch” where in the first four gospels the audio isn’t reading the text that’s on the screen. For example, if I enter Luke 1:70 it starts reading at Luke 1:78-79. It seems like it’s at random places and it’s usually at the end of a chapter, but it’s happened at several different places but only in the first four gospels. Is there a fix for this or an updated version? Any help would be great. Thanks!

This app deserves my 5 star rating over and over and over again. I have used it for at least the past 7-10 years if not more. I do t have words that could thank this app

With this APP I have recited Romans, James, some of Psalms, and shadow reading all Luke, John and some of Metthews! The more I recite, the more I love the the words of God, and the more I love the APP which help me a lot, and the more I love my Lord for without Him I can do nothing! Thank God and praise the Lord! It took a couple of hours to really figure out the layout, but now it’s pretty easy to use. I like the way you can choose books, chapters, and verses. I rate the app to be worth your while.

I find it ridiculous we have to pay to hear anything but 1st John. Can’t even READ other scripture. Why? It is the word of God. I’ll gladly go somewhere else where I can get His word the way it is intended to be not sold to me

The Word of Promise not only brings you the Word of God. It also brings it alive to an extent that you submerge yourself in God’s Word. You are able to take it in deeply as you put yourself there when the words were spoken.

Yessss! I am glad for the study Bible part also because it helps me greatly in my studying and I purchased it as well, but the BEST part about this app is the AUDIO!!!! I can listen to it ALL DAY!!! I love how there is different music and action in the background on top of different actor’s and actresses’s voices it is dramatic and keeps you so interested in what is going on! The Bible comes alive! I love the Daily reading section and it keeps you focused and on track to keep reading and allows you to read more than one day at a time and keeps up with where you are at for you. It has an awesome sleep timer so you can listen to the Bible as you are drifting off to sleep…that is cool as well!!! Just awesome. You can turn this in and do some chores and listen while you work because you get used to who the different voices are. The character voices stay the same…it’s neat and read as if they’re having the conversation….it’s cool!!! You should download it makes reading the Bible fun, easy, and enjoyable. (If you have a tv that uses screen-share you can also…throw it up on screen-share and use it for Bible School. We use it on our living room tv for homeschool). You can also additionally purchase a KJV VERSION of the Bible (some people have churches that use this one and like to use this one at church), but it does NOT come in the audio…for those who are interested. However it does have the KJV Study Bible you can download. You can switch between the NKJV audio and the KJV Study Bible if you do that option. I personally, love the NKJV audio with the study Bible the best!!! You should download the dramatic audio version one—WOWWWW!!!! I mean you can hear the chariots and horses when they are after the Israelites before the Red Sea is parted…you can hear the swords clanging together when they are fighting. You can hear the roaring rain and water with the flood!!! It’s interesting!!! Puts you “in it!” Takes you from just reading and makes you literally a part of it, you get immersed in the Bible and it comes so alive in your mind. The makers of this app…BRILLIANT!!!!!

I'd like to update my review dated Dec 4, I was upset and didn't give the App itself it due! I have enjoyed the App immensely everyday with is daily reading! Just reading text sometimes bores me, this App bring the verses alive with voice! While I never indicated 5 stars on any item, and the reason is everything can be improved! But this This App is very close thank you for bring the Bible text alive!

This App deserves more accolades than I can say! It brings the Bible alive with the many voices of our time. And while reading along it makes the scriptures come much more real in my mind and heart!

I love that I can read and listen to a dynamic dramatical reading of the text by the various voice actors. Makes the experience so much more engaging. I love this App and I would recommend it to anyone who struggles with daily reading of scripture.

started use love it so much listen Evernote all night to hardly ever miss amazing how much y miss and also understand with repetition particularly like Paul Peter John’s voices I do wish it could slow down James reading a little to quick I like more selah moments the actors voices were good choice .
